They are primarily used for onboarding, staking protocols and have price discovery on HootDex, they do not directly trade on HootDex. ### **What is a Wrapped Token?** ##### Wrapped tokens on the Pecu Novus blockchain are reserve‑backed digital representations of external assets that allow those assets to operate securely within the Pecu Novus ecosystem. They are minted when an underlying asset is deposited into a multi‑asset treasury vault, and they remain fully collateralized through an aggregate reserve. ##### Wrapped tokens behave like native Pecu Novus assets in terms of interoperability and utility, but they are not tradeable on HootDex. Instead, they serve a specific functional role within the ecosystem. ### **How Wrapped Tokens Function on HootDex** ##### Wrapped tokens on HootDex are not tradeable and do not form market pairs. Their role is strictly functional: - ##### They appear on HootDex for price discovery, TVL visibility, and reserve transparency - ##### They are used for staking, liquidity support, and conversion mechanisms - ##### They allow users to bring external value into the Pecu Novus ecosystem and convert it into PECU or USXM ##### This design ensures wrapped tokens support ecosystem liquidity without becoming freely tradable assets. ### **Why Wrapped Tokens Do Not Display Native Addresses** ##### Wrapped tokens are backed by assets held in a multi‑asset treasury vault, not segregated individual addresses.
